Just outside of Baltimore, MD, the bride and groom were getting ready for a day of love and excitement. In Greek wedding tradition, loved ones took turns helping them dress for the big day. The separate preparations of Katerina and Manny set the stage for a fun filled day and the coming together of two families.

Friends and family gathered at the magnificent St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church in Cockeysville, Maryland to view Katerina and Manny exchange vows in a ceremony steeped in Greek Orthodox tradition.

Following the wedding ceremony, the celebration continued at Martin’s Valley Mansion in Cockeysville, Maryland. Our job as wedding videographers was made easy with so much space to move in the expansive reception hall. As they embarked on their first dance, the couple’s friends and family showered them in tradition with dollar bills and hugs and kisses, symbolizing their love and well wishes.

After several heartfelt speeches, the lively circle dance, known as “Kalamatianó,” took center stage. Everyone linked arms, forming a spirited chain with even the band joining in! The reception was a perfect testament to the love, joy, and vibrant spirit that characterized the pair’s union.
